Summary/Objective

Provides support to customers, end-users, and outside sales team in Latin America by contacting and responding to customer communications via telephone, email, website inquires and any other appropriate methods to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Assists with requests for product information, sales/order placing assistance, returns and warranties. Follows established procedures and provides the first level of problem solving and corrective action.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers on Minimizer and Premier products and processes by effectively communicating the features and benefits
  • Conducts detailed data entry into an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) following established procedures
  • Processes and verifies orders and quotes received by phone, fax, and email for accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage a high volume of calls
  • Navigate our HBB website(s) to help answer customer inquiries
  • Prepare customs documents for truck and parcel shipments in Latin America
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, manage accounts, and file electronic documents
  • Initiates action to customer service requests such as order adjustments, expedited shipping requests, updates of contact management files, return inquires and warranties
  • Assist in developing relationships to create loyal customers by identifying and providing solutions to their needs
  • Provides feedback on the consistency and effectiveness of the customer service department’s policies and procedures
  • Interacts with various departments such as Production, Shipping, Outside Sales, to ensure customer requirements are met

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual – Fully fluent with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Experience using both languages in a professional capacity is preferred
  • Proven experience as a customer service representative, customer support representative, or similar area

Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently

  • Ability to craft professional emails
  • Active listening skills and strong attention to detail
  • Solid awareness of your skill set and willingness to refer customers for help, as needed
  • Ability to learn technical aspects of our product lines and processes to assist with troubleshooting install situations of products
  • Dependable, courteous, positive, and patient person who maintains a professional demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve skill sets
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • 2 years of customer service experience

Minimizer has an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer champions problem solving for all aspects of manufacturing. The position supports manufacturing with CNC programming, process improvements, and value stream analysis. The Manufacturing Engineer continuously works on ways to improve worker safety and satisfaction. The position provides problem resolution and improvements for existing product offerings and research for new methods, new materials, and products. This position also assists the R&D department in new product development projects, enhancements, and improvements.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot processes, materials, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Create CNC programs for manufacturing equipment such as but not limited to router tables, robotic routers, etc. Some off hours will be needed for programming.
  • Knowledge of CAD software would be very beneficial.
  • Create and maintain backup programs for all CNC and NC equipment.
  • Create and manage manufacturing methods and procedures, including documentation of best practice / standard work instructions.
  • Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Assist with hands on training of manufacturing employees on new products, tooling, equipment, and process revisions.
  • Schedule, complete, and document routine maintenance on applicable manufacturing and test equipment as support to Maintenance.
  • Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, checkout and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
  • Perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports pertaining to manufacturing related topics (i.e. efficiency, productivity).
  • Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in all manufacturing areas.
  • Installs and validates equipment and processes in the manufacturing area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedures.
  • Lead improvement initiatives, including hands-on completion of projects.
  • Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Minimizer Standards and Systems.
  • Work with Engineers on new product installs, testing and validation.

 Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a related field

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong computer proficiency with various software programs including CNC-NC programming, knowledge of CAD software will be very beneficial.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and part measuring down to .001 inches using the proper inspection equipment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • High level of mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
